Rental Information
The following is a summary of general information you may need to know when renting a motorhome from "GranerFamily". We want you to be an informed customer who has fun and enjoy his trip as a wonderful experience. Most of all we like you to become a regular customer!
 
 
Details

Business hours: Since we run our business out of our home we have no normal business hours in fact, for you we are open any time.

But call before you plan to visit us.
Booking: For advanced reservations a $ 400 deposit is required with the reservation request.
For reservations made within 14 days of departure date payment is due in full for total rental.
No one way rentals. Unit must be returned where you picked it up. We have a 5 day minimum rental.
Payment: The estimated Payment plus a $ 400 deposit is due before leaving with the rental unit. No Exceptions!
Airport pick up: We too offer Airport pick up and drop off. It is included in our Graner family package ($189)
Free mileage: Many competitors offer "free mileage" however, the cost is usually buried in the rental rate. We believe this is not fair to the customer. Therefore we have chosen to reduce our rental rates and charge everyone for the miles they use. This is fair for both of us.
 
Security Deposit: $ 400 per rental. A Personal-Check is accepted.
Preparation Fee: All Motorhomes rental contracts come with a $ 89 preparation fee (included in the Graner family Package). We provide you a clean Motorhome inside and out. We check everything to make sure you have a nice trip. We empty the holding tanks and top the Gas, Propane and the water tank. We explain every aspect of the Motorhome to you, so you will be fully educated.
Insurance: Our Motothomes are covered with a Commercial Rental Insurance. Renter is responsible for the first $3,000 on each event, regardless of fault. This responsibility can be reduced to $ 300 for $ 16 a day. The renter may cover the Rental unit under his own Vehicle insurance. He has to provide a written statement of his insurance (called binder) before departure.
Smoking and Pets: There is no smoking in our Motorhomes. However pets are allowed. If the motorhome is returned with hairs, smoke or pet odor, you will be charged $ 50 per hour for cleaning.
Check out and return: You can get your RV on the evening (after 5 P.M.) prior to your first rental day. You have to return the Motorhome before 5P.M. on your last rental day.
The check out and check in process can take up to one hour and a half, so allow yourself enough time. Pick up and return must do the renter themselves. No Exceptions!
Return conditions: The RV needs to be returned in a clean re rentable condition. You can pay in advance for cleaning the interior for $ 80. If the vehicle is not returned in re-rent condition, we will deduct at least $ 100 from your security deposit.
Mechanical problems: Every effort has been taken and every possible precaution we have taken to ensure you have a pleasant and enjoyable trip. Events such as mechanical breakdowns and equipment malfunctions can occur in even the newest Motorhomes. Renter agrees not to hold "GranerFamily" responsible or liable for any mechanical breakdown of rented vehicle. We will assist you in every way to reduce the time delay to a minimum. We refund you for each day you can not use the RV with your out of pocket expenses but with a maximum refund of your daily rental fee.
Repair reimbursement: No reimbursement for out of pocket expenses for repairs to the vehicle or any other expenses will be paid to the renter unless prior authorization has been given and receipts of repairs are provided to us when the unit is returned.
Renter damage:
Renter is responsible for any damage not covered by the renter's or our insurance. Renter's security deposit will be held.

Generator: Each of our RVs are equipped with a 110 volt electric generator. Running the generator enables you to operate the Roof Air Conditioner, the Microwave Oven and any electrical appliance you bring along (i.e. hair dryer) without having to plug into a 110 volt power source. We charge $ 3 for Generator use. Keep in mind, if you are travelling to an elevation of 4500 feet or more malfunctions due to elevation my accure. Please do not try to adjust! No compensation will be made.

Dry camping: Is not advised. With all the new electronic equipped on RVs today batteries are always under a current drain. Understand that when you dry camping problems will most likely arise due to low battery. To charge the battery drive for at least 3-4 hours.
Cancellation: Any cancellation must be made in writing. If canceled from time of booking up to 30 days prior departure date the deposit will be forfeited. If the Renter places a new contract within 12 Month, we charge at the next time only half of the deposit (instead of $ 400 only $ 200) Cancellations within 72 hours of departure forfeits 50% of the rental payment.
